Formation of interest in exercise in a select sport of athletes at the stage of initial preparation

Abstract

The article is devoted to such an aspect of sports training of athletes as the formation of interest in practicing the chosen kind of sport. In the introduction, the authors note that it is interest that underlies the preservation of the contingent in sports schools, which is especially important at the stage of initial training. In the main part, the authors provide a set of methodological recommendations aimed at increasing interest in practicing the chosen sport and present the results of its experimental verification.
