Psychology of safety of the educational environment

Abstract

Relevance. Human security is one of the basic needs. Taking into account the variety of factors influencing education as a social institution, the author reveals the importance of subjective interpretation of the environment for the formation of an individual's mental activity in specific conditions. Also in the article

The purpose is to consider the phenomenon of security from the perspective of various psychological approaches, a psychological model of security is presented and psychological mechanisms of security are highlighted.

Methods of the research. The safety of the educational environment depends on a large number of diverse conditions. The sociological analysis of education allows us to distinguish three levels of environmental safety factors

The results of the research. Summarizing the above, we can describe the psychological model of security as a three-component structure. In addition, the analysis of existing approaches to the safety of the educational environment allows us to identify psychological mechanisms, the formation and development of which allows us to proactively design the safety of the educational environment

Conclusions. The security of the educational environment at the micro level is based on constructive interactions of people and the behavior of an individual that is adequate to the situation. Consequently, one of the main conditions for the functioning of the educational environment is the psychological basis of its security.
